Claude Connectors for Everyday Life — Uber, Spotify, Instacart, TurboTax, and 11 More
Anthropic expands Claude's connector directory from work tools to everyday consumer apps: Uber, Uber Eats, Spotify, Instacart, Booking.com, Resy, TripAdvisor, Viator, TurboTax, Credit Karma, StubHub, Taskrabbit, Thumbtack, AllTrails, and Audible. Claude suggests relevant apps in context and asks before completing purchases or bookings.
Claude now connects to 15 everyday consumer apps — from Uber and Spotify to TurboTax — and can act on your behalf with your approval.
What is it?
Anthropic has expanded Claude's connector ecosystem beyond productivity tools to include 15 consumer lifestyle apps: Uber, Uber Eats, Spotify, Instacart, Booking.com, Resy, TripAdvisor, Viator, Intuit TurboTax, Intuit Credit Karma, StubHub, Taskrabbit, Thumbtack, AllTrails, and Audible. Claude surfaces connectors in context — if you ask about a hike, AllTrails appears; if you mention dinner plans, Resy does. Once you activate a connector with one click, it's available across all conversations. Announced April 23, 2026.
How does it work?
Connectors use Anthropic's MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration layer. Claude detects when a user's intent maps to a connected service and surfaces it inline. When a transaction action is required — booking a restaurant, adding items to a cart, calling an Uber — Claude confirms with the user before executing. Admins on Team and Enterprise plans can restrict which connector actions are permitted.
Why does it matter?
Claude was primarily a text and work-productivity assistant. Adding consumer apps shifts it toward a life-management layer — an assistant that can handle errands, bookings, and finances conversationally. No sponsored placements: Claude suggests only apps the user has connected, and the user approves every action before it happens.
Who is it for?
Claude users who want a single conversational interface for everyday tasks
