Claude is now first-class inside Blender, Photoshop, Premiere, Fusion, Ableton, and the rest of the creative software stack.

What is it?

A package of connectors letting Claude read state from and drive actions inside major creative tools. Built on top of MCP, so the same servers work with other LLMs. Pairs with educational partnerships at RISD, Ringling, and Goldsmiths.

How does it work?

Each connector exposes the host application's scripting/automation surface to Claude — Blender's Python API, Adobe's UXP/scripting bridges, Fusion's API, Ableton's Live API, SketchUp's Ruby API. Claude can answer 'how do I do X in this tool' with the tool's actual current state in context, write the script that does X, or perform the operation directly. Anthropic also joined the Blender Development Fund as a corporate backer of the open-source 3D suite.

Why does it matter?

Until now, AI assistants for creative software were either browser side-panels or third-party plugins of variable quality. Vendor-blessed connectors from a frontier lab into the canonical apps changes the integration story for every studio and indie creator. The MCP-based design means Cursor, Cline, OpenAI's Operator, etc., inherit the same surface.
