Codex CLI 0.166.0 adds keyboard-driven transcript selection with search, a `codex doctor --network-only` diagnostic, `codex queue --resume`, and GPT-6.1 Terra in the Vertex AI and Bedrock catalogs.

## What it is

Keyboard-driven transcript selection is the main change in Codex CLI 0.166.0. You can move by word, line or page, search inside the transcript, and set your own shortcuts. The release also adds `codex doctor --network-only` and `codex queue --resume`.

## How it works

The doctor flag runs only the configuration, connectivity and WebSocket checks. The queue command resumes threads that are not loaded after it queues a message. When a request is blocked for safety, the TUI explains why and offers safer follow-up prompts you can pick.

## Why it matters

Fixes keep approval and permission settings when you resume or fork a thread. They also keep reasoning-token counts across resume, so context is not compacted too early. GPT-6.1 Terra is now in the bundled, Vertex AI and Amazon Bedrock model catalogs.

## Who it's for
