How does it work?

Defenders are routed to the two Daybreak tiers that already exist: Daybreak Blue covers common defensive work on mainline models, and Daybreak Red is the set of specialized cyber models for more sensitive or demanding tasks. Teams use them to review legacy code, analyze suspicious activity, find vulnerabilities, rank severity, and write and test fixes. A pilot with the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC) adds training for state, local, tribal and territorial defenders, beginning with public-sector and water-system teams.
