Fable 5.1 Worlds — Claude agent swarms build explorable 3D neighbourhoods
Fable 5.1 Worlds is an MIT-licensed repo of browser-native 3D reconstructions of real places, researched, modelled and checked by autonomous Claude Fable 5.1 agents. Two worlds ship: San Francisco's Union Square and Kyoto's Higashiyama.

What is it?
Fable 5.1 Worlds ships two browser-native 3D reconstructions of real places, written with Three.js rather than exported from a game engine. The Union Square world in San Francisco has 453 buildings and 129 identified storefronts, with interiors you can walk into. The Higashiyama world in Kyoto covers a 2.3 km walking route drawn as hand-painted anime-style backgrounds, with 266 buildings and 1,938 trees.
How does it work?
Autonomous Claude Fable 5.1 agents did the research, the modelling and the quality checks end to end, working from open data and reference imagery. The output is code — Three.js scenes you run locally with npm — not a bundle of pre-built assets. PhiloLabs published the repo under the MIT licence and embedded video walkthroughs of both worlds in the README.
Why does it matter?
Holding a whole city block together is a far longer task than the single-file demos agent coding usually gets judged on, so PhiloLabs' repo is a concrete look at what a Claude Fable 5.1 swarm can finish without a person steering it. The project drew 215 stars and reached the Hacker News front page within a day of going up.
