Sam Witteveen gives a first look at Tencent's full Hunyuan Hy4 release.
What is it?
'Hy4 Beats it's Preview Easily' went up on Sam Witteveen's channel on 5 November 2026. It is a quick first look at Hunyuan Hy4, the full version of Tencent's flagship model after the August preview.
How does it work?
Tencent's final Hy4 adds image input and computer use to the preview and keeps a 1,048,576-token context window. It is hosted on Tencent Cloud and OpenRouter, and Witteveen notes in the video description that the open weights have not shipped yet.
Why does it matter?
Hy4 is one of the larger Chinese flagship releases this month. A short hands-on view helps developers decide whether to try the hosted model now or wait for the weights.
