What is it?

Mistral Physics AI is a class of specialized models, not LLMs, that learn from physics solver outputs and predict the behavior of mechanical systems. The May 27 launch is the productization of the Emmi AI team Mistral acquired on May 19. The first version targets aerospace, automotive, electronics and semiconductors, energy, and industrial equipment.

How does it work?

The system maps geometry and boundary conditions to full physical fields — pressure, temperature, stress, flow — in a single forward pass on one GPU, on the order of seconds.
