How does it work?
OpenAI and Oracle wire access to OpenAI frontier models and Codex into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Eligible Oracle Universal Credits — the prepaid commit currency Oracle enterprise customers already use to buy OCI compute, storage, and software — are now redeemable against OpenAI usage through OCI. Billing flows through Oracle's existing invoicing and governance, so buyers route AI spend through the procurement, finance, and security review they already have in place.
